shocks
a boy ruined
                                                        the bears lost
the season dies

begin                      bulking up

                         stars.

Your hands like six-guns,
thumbs cocked in each pocket.
When I caught your eye,

The explosion in my heart was deafening.
You were grinning,
and no-one else had noticed.

The sky ablaze with color
Wispy clouds on the move
Sailing over land and sea
Moving on a silent breeze
Dark clouds cast a shadow
A hint of moisture in the air
Water and Wind combine
Endless waves batter the shore
Thunder shatters the silence
Lightning cuts into darkness
Water and sand as one
A storm at sea in silence
As the storm subsides
A yellow crescent rises
Light reflecting on water
Waves in quiet harmony
Dawn is on the horizon
Seagulls soaring overhead
A salty breeze gently blowing
Over the unmoving dunes
